Here's the scoop on what happened in January.
Much of the month was spend on waiting for our recognition papers and recruiting. By the end of the month, we had the bare basics down.
Our exec team consisted of two Presidents (Manita Swati and Me, of course), one Vice-President (Mahpara), a Secretary (Sola Aina), and a Marketing Director (Kimberly King).
We took part in the Winter Week of Welcome organized by U of T Student Union and got about 70 new members.
We also held a bakesale themed Eat for Charity. We got a lot of exposure and attention on top of the sales.
