Winter in Review + Calling for Submissions

Today is the last day of classes. A lot has happened in the last four months: we decided to turn Project Ichcha in to a UofT club, we recruited an exec team of 6, we went through training, we organized a bunch of bake-sales and movie nights and we raised over $370 in total. You can read up about the events in our events section.

We have a lot of things planned for the summer, including a BBQ and a benefit gala for ASF. Tentative date for the benefit gala is sometime in the last week of May or first week of June. It will run for a week (only photos and artwork will be displayed during this time) and end with a dinner party at UTAC (where other talents that require the artist to be present will be showcased). We will charge a very small fee ($2-$10) for participants for entry in to the gala - this is mainly to make sure participants are as serious about it as we are. All artwork or photos may be sold during this gala and we prefer a 40% or more donation out of your price. Since it is for Acid Survivors, the theme will be 'Abuse and its Forms'. More information to come.
